For years, the small, quaint town somewhere in the Cordilleras has been the picture of peace and quiet, until one day, when a rich mining baron arrives with his armed thugs and starts causing disorder. Despite opposition from environmentalists and residents, the greedy businessman opens a mine, doing all he can to amass wealth. Only the town�s police chief dares to stand up to him.
